THD5 and THD50 Firmware update procedure:CREATING UPDATE DISC:Please download TH-D5-50J V135A.zip and save it on your desktop.· Unzip both files onto your desktop:VUP_info.cds and SPMTH_D5_FMU_MB5_1.swp· Using your computer burning software, create a disc containing only those two files (nofolders or other files).Please make sure that the following settings are observed for burning the disc:Format of CD should be set at Mode 1 Disc at once.File system - ISOUPDATING THD5 or THD50 WITH NEW FIRMWARE:1) Power on the unit.2) Open the tray and insert the update disk. Press “PLAY”.3) After the tray closes, update starts automatically. Please do not press any buttons or pull thepower cord at this time. “READING” will be displayed during update procedure and approximatelyafter 1 minute “COMPLETE” will indicate that update is done.4) Disc tray will open automatically. Please remove UPDATE disc.5) Turn off the power, unplug then reconnect the power cord.Notes:· If during update after word “READING” shows on display then “UPGRADE”, your unitalready has the new version installed.· If during update after word “READING” shows on display then “NO DISK”, then theremaybe a problem with update disc. Please make sure you have correct firmware file foryour model and try creating new disc.
